Connecting service design job seekers with career-worthy opportunities
Service Design Jobs is a project of Practical Service Design, the organizers of the global Service Design community of practice with over 2,000 (and growing) members in our active Slack community.
We launched Service Design Jobs in January 2017 with the goal to support the community of service design job seekers and employers, and connect amazing candidates in our community with career-worthy opportunities.
In addition to providing access to the community, postings to Service Design Jobs also benefit from our active social media and blogging exposure, acting as a highly specialized funnel for very particular job seekers. Featured jobs will also be featured in the regular Community Newsletter.
As leaders in the service design community, having your job listed on Service Design Jobs is an unofficial stamp of approval, saying that we feel confident in sending our community members your way to help connect those who want to work with a service design mindset with jobs we feel are career-worthy and relevant.
Who started this thing?
Hi! We’re Erik & Megan, and together we’re the founders of Practical Service Design and Service Design Jobs. We started this collaboration in order to help educate, motivate, and integrate service design into practical work contexts.
With service design being a newer, more specialized, and increasingly popular discipline, we wanted to create a focused resource where both job seekers and employers could meet. This job board is our way of helping connect those who are looking for service design jobs with the companies that offering them, and furthering the mission and purpose of the service design discipline a as a whole.
